Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience

The tasks a Product Development Manager is expected to perform include:

Being in-charge of the product development department

Knowledge of market trends

Ability to provide a design brief to the merchandiser and designer

Knowledge of preparing and implementing the product development plan

Ability to coordinate with different teams

Ability to effectively manage teams

Knowledge of planning for capacity expansions

Ability to impart training to team members

Knowledge of technology and basic manufacturing techniques

Knowledge of pricing mechanisms based on various parameters

Ability to train and motivate team members

Keen eye for trends and understanding customer requirements

Creativity

Attention to detail

Team player

Good communication skills

Fashion conscious

Willingness to travel extensively along with long working hours

Patience

Good presentation skills

Local travelling is a part of this job role
