Preferably minimum experience of 1 year as a stock house keeper

The tasks a Stock House Foreman is expected to perform include:

Directing operations of stock house

Controlling charging of furnace

Directing unloading of raw materials

Arranging raw material into respective bunkers

Receiving instructions from blower or foreman blast furnace

Instructing lorry car driver or control man, blast furnace for loading skip with raw material

Keeping accounts of furnace charging, raw material, etc.

Knowledge of standard procedures used in receiving, storing and issuing supplies

Knowledge of inventory management

Skilled in record keeping Basic knowledge of accounting
