Packing Supervisor

Minimum Any graduate degree

Preferably minimum 3?5 years of experience required

The tasks a Supervisor and Foreman, Checking, Sorting, Packing and Related Activities is expected to perform include:

Supervising performance of workers engaged in testing, sorting, weighing, counting, packing and labelling drugs and other materials by automatic or manual

processes and ensuring correct operations

Studying specifications and details of work to be done

Instructing workers to set machines and equipment or perform manual tasks, as prescribed

Relieving workers, as necessary, to avoid fatigue and keeping machines and equipment in working order

Training new entrants

Maintaining record of daily out turn

Making shift arrangements to avoid stoppages

Skilled in packing material in the best and safest possible manner

Ability to complete the job according to the set specifications

Knowledge of the kind of material to be handled and packing it accordingly

Skilled in training the workers in using machines

Ability to keep the machines in working condition all the time and getting them serviced when required
