Growth in the Capital Goods & Manufacturing, Construction, Iron & Steel Sector

Domestic and international demand is increasing every year. The steel industry is growing at a rapid pace to meet the increasing requirements. The 1,000-crore welding equipment market in India is very fragmented and dominated by low priced local manufacturers hence is a lucrative destination for foreign direct investment (FDI).

Welding industry in particular has a high demand in national and international market. The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) is doing lot of work in this direction by visiting different workshops and training institutes. IIW is also providing training to the welders even in remote areas, helping them to improve their skill. With increasing growth in manufacturing sector, India is considered as one of the most lucrative markets for Supervisor and Foreman, Welding and Flame Cutting.
