Metal Sheet Worker

Minimum 12th pass

Minimum experience of up to 1 year as a supervisor in a metal extruding plant

The tasks a Supervisor and Foreman, Metal Drawing and Extruding is expected to perform include:Supervising and guiding workers engaged in metal drawing and extruding operations for making wires, tubes, etc. by automatic or semi-automatic processes

Guiding workers in setting machines,die guides, mandrel, etc.Supervising operations and directing workers as necessary to ensure efficient performance

Arranging for tools and equipment and maintaining them in working order

Ensuring compliance with safety rules and precautionary measures

Maintaining necessary records and registers

Basic knowledge of maintaining log books

Skilled in operation and control techniques

Skilled in manoeuvring mechanised equipment for extruding

Knowledge of all the tools and equipment used in metal drawing

Basic knowledge of machines and tools

Basic knowledge of arithmetic and statistics

Working hours
