The tasks a Supervisor and Foreman Electrical and Electronic Equipment is expected to perform include:

Ensuring stipulated performance of electrical and electronic equipment, motors, generators, etc.

Studying the drawings and wiring diagrams and accordingly explaining the details to the workers

Checking the connection, quality and thickness of wires, resistance, condensers, valves, coils, etc.

Getting all the defective parts or components replaced

Ensuring conformity with prescribed specifications

Guiding the workers in fitting, assembling and installing electrical and electronic equipment including electrical motors and generators

Assisting the workers, where necessary

Testing the completed unit for electrical circuit, flow of current, resistance, frequency, earthing, etc.

Using substitute parts or change wiring system, if authorized

Knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment, motors, generators, etc.

Ability to study and read all the drawings and wiring diagrams

Proficiency in checking the quality and thickness of wires, resistance, condensers, valves, coils, etc.

Knowledge of testing unit for electrical circuit, flow of current, resistance, frequency and earthing

Skilled in guiding the workers

Proficiency in testing and removing all the snags
