Rack Wiring Engineer

The tasks a Charge Hand, Rack Wiring (Telephone Equipment) Manufacturing is expected to perform include:

Instructing and directing Operators, Rack-wiring, in assembling and erecting different kinds of selector racks, relay set racks, etc.

Organising and distributing work among operators within sections and filling in time cards

Checking sequence of work performed by different operators, detecting and removing faults and ensuring that wiring is done according to circuit diagrams

Instructing and training operators and ensuring their general efficiency

Recording number of persons supervised and ability to detect and rectify faults in wiring

Ability to detect and rectify faults in wiring

Skilled in personnel management and training the workers

Knowledge of efficiently erecting racks for wiring purpose

The Indian telecom sector is expected to create four million direct and indirect jobs over the next 5 years on the back of the government?s efforts to increase penetration in rural areas along with the growth in the Smartphone numbers and internet usage, according to estimates by Randstad India.
