Minimum 6 months of work experience/on-the-job training
The task a Component Maker is expected to perform include: Creating components such as balls, wire, stampings, strips and chains required for completing the jewellery piece
Dexterity of the hands

Ability to match the design picture to the actual piece
Understanding of acids involved in manufacturing
Understanding of metal behaviour at different temperatures
Understanding of alloying to create components on different karatages
Knowledge of safety precautions
