Polished Diamond Assorter and Grader

Certified training for Polished Grader & Assorter Basic (programme aligned to G&J/Q 4909 released by the Gem & Jewellery Skills Council of India)

A minimum of 6 monthsof work experience/internship in a diamond processing unit

The task a Polished Grader & Assorter (Basic) is expected to perform include:

Segregating lots of melee sized polished diamonds through a tripod

Dexterity of the hands

Good eyesight

Ability to carry out identification of a diamond

Knowledge of the 4Cs of a diamond

Ability to identify the various shapes in a diamond

Knowledge of the gauging and sieving process

Proficiency in the use of various scopes in diamond processing
