Minimum six months' relevant experience

The tasks a Rubber Mould Maker is expected to perform includes:

Producing rubber moulds of the master model for replicating it in the mass production of jewellery piece through the casting process.

Dexterity of hands

Knowledge of producing rubber moulds as per job sheet

Knowledge of cutting rubber moulds as per the master model design

Knowledge and understanding of the different types of rubber and their properties w.r.t. heat and pressure sensitivity

Knowledge of potential work hazards when using a vulcaniser, hot plates and sharp tools

Knowledge of using different tools and machines

Knowledge of computer operations

Patience

Ability to work independently

Good communication skills

Team spirit

Multi-tasking ability

Decision-making skills

Attention to detail

It is a desk job

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available

Working hours

Most companies usually work for 6 days a week and 8 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company.
