Crowning Machine Operator

Minimum Graduate from ITI

Minimum 1-2 years of experience required

The tasks a Filler, Aerated Water is expected to perform include:

Operating the automatic filling, mixing and crowning machines to fill the bottles with syrup and carbonated water, fixing crowns on them and mixing the contents

Feeding crowns in the crowning machine hopper, and syrup and carbonated water in the filling machine

Operating the syrup and bottle filling machines

Opening the conveyor gate trap to allow bottles to pass first to the syrup filling and then to the carbonated water filling machine

Preventing the jamming of bottles by controlling the conveyor gate trap, as necessary

Tapping the crowning machine hopper with a mallet, if the crowns get stuck up

Watching operations and readings of gas and oil pressure

Watching water temperature and the speedometer

Removing stuck-up and defective bottles

Knowledge of production processes and quality control

Ability to troubleshoot the machine when required

Knowledge of the relevant tools and equipment

Skilled in mixing the contents/ingredients of aerated water

Skilled in operating the filling machine for aerated water
