The tasks a Bottle Washer, Machine is expected to perform include:

Operating the bottle washing machine for washing empty, used or dirty bottles

Arranging for the collection of empty or used bottles from the godown to the washing machine

Adding the prescribed quantity of chemicals to the water in the washing tanks

Changing the cleaning brushes, if required

Regulating the steam valve to heat up the tank water to the prescribed temperature

Ensuring the good condition of the brushes used, adequate pressure of the spray and proper scrubbing and cleaning of the bottles

Checking bottles at the delivery end of the machine and removing damaged, defective or unclean bottles

Pulling out the stuck bottles by lifting the stopper weights

In-depth knowledge of the chemicals to be used for cleaning and disinfecting bottles

Knowledge of the temperature parameters of washing machines

Skilled in examining damaged bottles by sight

Knowledge of the appropriate brushes to be used for cleaning bottles

Ability to maintain hygiene in and around the plant
