Minimum ITI Diploma

Minimum experience of 1 year in a relevant field

The tasks a Pasteuriser, Brewery is expected to perform include:

Pasteurising beer bottles and sorting out the defective ones

Opening the water inlet cock in the pasteurisation tank

Filling water just a few inches above the crowns of bottles

Opening the steam valves to heat the water to the specified temperature

Checking the water temperature periodically with a thermometer

Operating the steam valve to ensure constant temperature

Removing bottles showing a leakage of gas due to defective crowning

Opening the cold water spray pipes to cool down the bottles after the required period

Draining out water by opening the outlet cock of the tank after the bottles have been cooled down

Recording the pasteurisation time of each tank

Skilled in pasteurising beer bottles

Skilled in the operating processes of a pasteurisation tank

Knowledge of the various parameters in the pasteurisation process like level of water, temperature, etc.

Skilled in using devices like thermometers, gauges, etc.

Basic knowledge of brewing beer

Currently in India there are very less resources available for this particular field. It is an un-touched segment but with the increase in demand for breweries the educational resources would also increase.

With all these figures in consideration it is safe to say that the demand for a Pasteuriser, Brewery will surely increase in the coming years.
