Minimum experience of 2-4 years in a relevant field

The tasks a Magmaman is expected to perform include:

Preparing the magma from the sugar of masscuites

Adding the water, syrup and molasses to the sugar solution for preparing the magna solution

Using the mechanical stirring for re?processing

Receiving the sugar extracted from the different massacuites and putting them into the mixing tank

Operating the lever and starting its mechanical stirrer

Opening the valves and adding the hot or cold water as per the requirement

Adding the sulphurated syrup with the sugar in the tank as per the requirement for making the required type of magma

Ensuring that thorough mixing is done

Operating the steam pumps and delivering the magma to the pan station, sulphitation tank or seed mixer as specified for re-processing

Knowledge of the process for preparing the magma from the sugar of masscuites

Knowledge of the quantity of water, syrup and molasses that goes in the sugar solution

Basic knowledge of the process of manufacturing sugar

Skilled in operating machines and equipment used for preparing magma

The Food Industry in India

The Indian Brand Equity Foundation in their report on the Food industry of India have referred to this industry as the highest profit incurring sector considering the scope it has to offer for value addition. In particular the food processing industry in India has been recognized as a high-priority area. This is because the food processing industry is one of the largest industries in India and is ranked fifth in terms of production, consumption, export and expected growth.

The latest figures have revealed that the total food production in India is likely to double in the next 10 years as the country?s domestic food market is estimated to reach US$ 258 billion by 2015.

Considering world data, the Indian food and grocery market is the world?s sixth largest with its retail contributing 70 per cent of the sales. It is projected to grow at the rate of 104 per cent, touching US$ 482 billion by 2020. This indicates vast scope for both investors and exporters.

India is the largest consumer of sugar in the world and consumes around 16 million tons of sugar per annum. The Indian Sugar Industry has a total turnover of INR 500 billion per annum and contributes almost INR 22.5 billion to the central and state exchequer as tax and excise duty every year according to the sources of the Ministry of Food and Government of India.

With all these figures in consideration it is safe to say that the demand for a Magmaman will surely increase in the coming years.
