The tasks a Peeling Machine Operator (Food Canning& Preserving) is expected to perform include:]

Operating and feeding the machine to remove the skin from the fruits and vegetables prior to canning and preserving them

Checking the preliminary washing and cleaning of fruits and vegetables by hand

Feeding the product into the hopper of the machine

Checking the machine at different stages of the peeling process

Regulating the flow of water inside the peeling tank

Discharging the product through the outlet valve on completion of peeling

Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control

Ability to troubleshoot the machine

Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment

Skilled in operating the peeling machine

Equipped in cleaning the fruits and vegetables by hand
