Minimum Preferably 12th standard pass Certified training for Vacuum Plant Operator (programme aligned to ELE/Q0104 released by Electronics Sector Skills Council)

The tasks a Vacuum Plant Operator is expected to perform include:

Operating the vacuum plant for metalizing film

Evacuating moisture from the wound capacitor

Preparing and cleaning the vacuum plant oven

Loading rolls in prescribed sequence and tapingthem

Setting speed, vacuum and temperature


Well-versed with basic electronics and component identification

Knowledge of different capacitors, their properties and applications

Proficient in handling raw materials

Well-versed with basic electrical, AC/DC voltage

Knowledge of basic programming, setting up and loading of the machines

Well-versed with commonly occurring machine and components defects

Proficient in routine maintenance of machines and basic repairs

Well-versed with FIFO system of inventory control
