The tasks a Drilling Operator is expected to perform include:

Drilling the printed circuit boards (PCB) to make holes for inserting leaded components as per the drilling specification

Conducting X-Ray quality checking of the PCBs to ensure the drilling has been done according to the programme

Knowledge of basic electronics and circuit design layouting

Familiarity with CNC machine functioning and operation

Familiarity with basics of drilling and micro-drilling

Familiarity with drilling techniques and drill tools

Knowledge of zero defect drilling techniques

Proficient in using machines and tools

Skilled at maintaining ESD, dust-free and 5S standards as per company?s policy

Knowledge of maintaining a safe and healthy working environment at the workplace

Proficient at handling hazardous material

Knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) measures for electronic component safety

Knowledge of IPC standards for printed circuit boards

Knowledge of disposal of hazardous chemicals, tools and materials by following prescribed environmental norms
