The tasks a RAC Assembly Operator is expected to perform include:Assembling and wiring up of components, modules and systems to make the complete product

Assembling different modules and sub systems to manufacture a refrigerator

Assembling different modules to manufacture an air conditioner

Proficient in electro-mechanical assembly instructions

Knowledge of general principles or wiring and assembly

Proficient in reading values of resistors, capacitors, diodes and integrated circuits

Knowledge of principles and methods of refrigeration

Well-versed with basics of soldering and the different types of soldering such as dry and cold solder

Knowledge of circuits and functioning of different modules of the PLC

Knowledge of types of compressors such as reciprocating, rotary, centrifugal, scroll and their functions

Knowledge of fundamentals such as Ohms law, difference between AC and DC, series and parallel connections

Basic knowledge of components such as diode, transformer, LED, photo transistor, capacitor, resistor, inductor, etc.

Proficient in selecting and maintaining various tools used during the assembly process

Well-versed with different types of refrigerants such as R12, R22, R134a, R290, R600a, R410, R32, etc.

Ability to work in a high decibel work environment
