The tasks a Wire Bonding Operator is expected to perform include:Operating the automated or semi-automated wire bonding machine

Attaching the gold or metal wire to silicon die or micro-chip to lead frame or

Printed Circuit Board(PCB)

Well-versed with basics of electronics and active components

Knowledge of different types of diodes, transistors and Integrated Circuits (IC)

Adept in using component and their applications

Proficient in machine operations and upkeep

Well-versed with computer operations and program loading

Knowledge of safety and quality standards

Proficient in loading wire, solder and flux on the machine

Adept in identify defects and reporting in time

Well-versed in undertaking preventive maintenance of machine as per manufacturer?s schedule

Proficient in setting speed, bond weight, bond force, ultrasonic eating, bond time, etc. as per product model on the machine

Adept in maintaining ESD, dust-free and 5S standards as per company?s policy
