Manufacturing Technician - Capacitor

Minimum Preferably 12th Standard Pass

Maximum Preferably ITI/Diploma (Electrical/Electronics)Certified training for Assembly Operator - Capacitor (programme aligned to ELE/Q0113 released by Electronics Sector Skills Council)

Preferred on-the-job-training

The tasks an Assembly Operator Capacitor is expected to perform include:

Operating machine set up to produce capacitors

Executing assembly operations and processes such as winding, flattening, protective taping, metal spraying, welding, resin filing and baking

Achieving zero errors and zero damages as per company standards

Carrying out preventive maintenance as per specifications

Delivering product to next work process on time as per production schedule

Knowledge of different types of capacitors, their features and ratings

Proficiency at operating equipment and various machines, their functioning, cleaning and basic maintenance

Understanding of raw materials and their properties

Knowledge of basic concepts of electronics, electrical and component identification

Understanding of basic programming, setting up and loading machines

Knowledge of Farad rating, debugging, geometric, dimensioning and tolerance (GD & T)Knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and 5S system Computer literacy and ability to read production schedules, job sheets and operations manuals

Previous relevant work experience

Detail-orientation and critical thinking

Teamwork and multitasking skills

Ability to work for long hours in standing or sitting position

It needs one to be on their toes

Work from home option is not available

Part-timework and contractual jobs are available

Working hours

Working is 9/10 hours everyday for 6 days a week

Current Scenario of Electronics Industry in India
