The tasks an Assembly Operator TV is expected to perform include:
Understanding requirements from the supervisor and the day?s production requirement
Assembling various parts of the television to produce the set
Assembling the various modules or sub-assemblies of the TV such as the housing, picture tube or backlight, audio reception and speaker system
Ensuring proper productivity, quality and safety standards as per the company?s policy
Proficiency in understanding mechanical assembly instructions
Working knowledge of CRT TV and functioning of its different modules
Knowledge of fundamentals of electricity such as Ohms Law, difference between AC and DC, series and parallel connections
Knowledge of basic components of electronics such as diode, transformer, LED, phototransistor, capacitor, resistor, inductor, thermistor
Knowledge of how to use the computer for documenting purposes
Knowledge of how to operate tools such as the screw driver, ratchets, wrenches, spanner and CRO
Knowledge of how to assemble electron guns and anode connections
Ability to read production schedules, job sheets and operations manuals
Will be updated
