Minimum ? Degree in Engineering

Minimum experience of 2 to 5 years in relevant field

The tasks a Planning Engineer is expected to perform include:

Planning and directing activities for increasing operational efficiency in production

Studying work orders, availability of raw materials, production methods, production capacity, etc.

Examining plans, sketches, diagrams, blueprints, etc.

Assessing and arranging quantum of raw materials required for production

Deciding on type of machine to be used and sequence of production operations

Preparing work schedules for subordinates

Instructing and coordinating work of different section heads

Ability to decide on the most appropriate engineering techniques for each project

Knowledge of drawing plans; using specialised design software packages, etc.Efficient in planning and meeting the client?s specifications

Proficient in carrying out estimations for timescales and costs

Skilled in close supervision and providing solutions to problems

Knowledge of sequence of production operations

Knowledge of the latest developments in the field of engineering
