Minimum ?Graduate degree in Engineering

Preferably prior experience as an Industrial Manager/minimum experience of 5 to 10 years in relevant field

The tasks a Methods Engineeris expected to perform include:Planning sequences of operations to be followed for manufacture of articles

Examining blueprints, sketches and specifications of product to be made

Laying out steps to be followed in the process

Ensuring mitigation of costs and enhancing production

Specifying machines, kinds of cutting tools and set ups to be used

Writing technical reports

Co-ordinating activities with design, production and other departmental personnel

Knowledge of sequence of production operations

Knowledge of blueprints, sketches and specifications of products

Knowledge of materials, machine operations, plant layout, etc.Skilled in creating economic processes to enhance productivity

Knowledge of the latest developments in the field of engineering

Will be updated
