Industrial Engineer

Minimum ? Engineering degree in relevant field

Preferably minimum experience of 1 year in relevant field

The tasks an Industrial Engineer is expected to perform include:

Planning and overseeing utilization of production facilities

Studying and planning equipment layout and work flow-charts for all operations

Undertaking accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities

Supervising work study and training programmes to promote efficient manpower utilization

Supervising application, inspection and maintenance of instruments in operation

Developing and ensuring quality control, cost control, inventory control and production record systems

Knowledge of production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, etc.

Skilled in drafting and designing layout of equipment, materials and workspace

Knowledge of sequence of operations to fabricate products

Efficient in developing manufacturing methods, labour utilization standards and cost analysis systems

Proficient in formulating sampling procedures and designs

Skilled in developing forms and instructions for recording and evaluation of work procedures

Knowledge of the latest developments in industrial engineering
