Minimum - 1-2 yearsof work experience in Apparel production department
The tasks an Industrial Engineer Executive is expected to perform include:
Determining the effective ways in which a product or service in sewing line can be created
Performing analysis of sewing methods and processes
Providing supervision to the production floor for efficiency improvement
Determining the production target
Analysing the performance on sewing floor
Planning sewing line based on production target
Supervising, analysing and evaluating performance on sewing floor
Researching and resolving production problems to implement better production system
Managing data, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability of data
Knowledge of nature of logistics and supply chains
Knowledge of factors in mathematical analysis and decision making
Skilled in risk assessment process
Knowledge of current policies with factory, machine and method
Knowledge of documentation requirements for rating and other performance evaluations of operations
Knowledge of software or format such as MS Word, Excel, Power
Point and Management Information System(MIS), General Sewing Data (GSD), Pre-determined Motion Time Systems (PMTS), etc.
Knowledge of manufacturing standards and procedures
Knowledge of sequence of operations for manufacturing
Knowledge of invoicing instructions and process
Knowledge of documentation formalities relating to IE
Training in Industrial Engineering and Process Improvement
Good analytical skills
Good communication skills
