Minimum Preferably 8th standard pass

Certified training for Field Technician Air Conditioner (programme aligned to ELE/Q3102 released by Electronics Sector Skills Council of India)

Minimum 2 years as helper for 8th / 9th pass

The tasks a Field Technician Air Conditioner is expected to perform include:

Installing the air conditioner

Interacting with customers

Diagnosing the problem and identifying the causes

Rectifying minor problems

Replacing faulty modules for failed parts

Recommending factory repairs for bigger faults

Knowledge of different types of air conditioners and differences in their operation and functioning

Proficient in method of air conditioning, its use and functioning of sealed system

Knowledge of types of refrigerants, use of different brazing sticks, types of brazing torches, types of fluxes

Knowledge of basic electronics

Knowledge of fundamentals of electricity

Proficiency in calculation of energy consumption of appliances

Equipped in repairing dysfunctional air conditioners and wiring

Knowledge of hazards, their causes and prevention

Well-versed with the etiquette to be followed at customerspremises

Working hours are 8/9 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from company to company
