The tasks an Electronics Fitter, General is expected to perform include:
Fitting, assembling and repairing various kinds of electronic equipment in factory or workshop
Examining drawings and wiring diagrams
Checking parts for accuracy of fit and minor adjustments
Assembling parts or mounting them on chassis or panels
Installing and connecting wiring
Soldering joints equipment
Diagnosing faults with aid of electronic testing equipment
Dismantling equipment if required and replacing faulty parts or wiring
Competent in fitting, assembling and repairing various kinds of electronic equipment
Well-versed in examining drawings and wiring diagrams
Proficient in assembling parts
Knowledge of installing and connecting wires
Proficiency in dismantling equipment and replacing faulty wiring
Will be updated
