Operator, Impregnation Plant (Telephone Equipment Manufacturing)

Minimum BE/B. Tech in any stream or BCA

Minimum experience of 4 5 years in relevant field

The tasks an Operator, Impregnation Plant (Telephone Equipment Manufacturing) is expected to perform include:

Operating the impregnation plant to dip assembled coils and armatures in tank containing molten insulating material like wax or varnish

Ensuring that all the materials are dried in baking plant (electric drying chamber)

Feeding the solid wax or varnish into the heating tank of plant

Switching on electric heaters and observing the thermometer readings to heat and melt insulting materials completely

Dipping the coils or other materials to be insulated into tank either manually or with hoisting equipment

Keeping all the materials in the solution for a prescribed period

Shutting the lid of tank before operating the vacuum pump of the machine

Ensuring that all parts of the dipped articles are completely covered with insulating materials

Removing the dipped articles and hanging them so as to drip the excess insulation

Placing the articles in electrical baking plant and drying them at fixed temperature for set period of time

Cleaning the plant and the maintains account of all the articles handled

Skilled in operating the impregnation plant

Skilled in handling the assembled coils and armatures

Proficient in handling the baking plant (electric drying chamber)

Knowledge of the temperature at which the articles need to be placed in the electrical baking plant
