Minimum ? Bachelor?s Degree or Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering

Certified training for Regional Parts Manager (RPM)(programme aligned to ASC/Q 0606 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

Not applicable if ASDC Regional Parts Manager certificate holder or holder of Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering

Up to 3 years of experience for other qualifications

On-the-job training is desirable for ASDC Regional Parts Manager certificate holders

The tasks a Regional Parts Manager(RPM)is expected to perform include:

Managing the spare parts business for the OEM across a region

Managing and ensuring the movement of spare parts

Skilled in managing operations to ensure the availability of spare parts

Skilled at settling claims

Familiar with managing customer relationships and quality service

Proficiency in supervising and evaluating performance

Adept at planning and organizing work to meet expected outcomes

Efficiency in maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment

Ability to stay abreast with the latest technological advancements

Physically fit

Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering

Ability to work independently

Hardworking and persistent

With the government?s backing, and trends in the international scenario such as the decline in prices of natural rubber, the Indian automobile industry is slated to witness some major growth.
