Certified training for Marketing Manager-Line of Business (programme aligned to ASC/Q0504 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

Minimum 4-8 years of experience in an R&D department

The tasks a Marketing Manager-Line of Business is expected to perform include:

Developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet the company?s objectives

Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitors' data

Designing and formulating complete branding and marketing activities for the assigned product portfolio

Supervising the implementation of the marketing plan

Managing the entire product life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical planning

Knowledge of conducting market research

Knowledge of studying and comparing competitors' products and services

Skilled in identifying potential customers and developing strategies to communicate with them

Knowledge of developing pricing strategies for OEM products

Basic knowledge of the financial aspects of OEM product development such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on investment and profit-loss projections

Knowledge of developing distribution and network expansion strategies

Skilled in monitoring and analyzing market trends

Knowledge of developing incentive plans for he sales function

Familiarity with the methods and techniques of taking feedback from customers

Familiarity with local, national, and international factors affecting the sale and purchase of products

Knowledge of MS Office

Basic knowledge of Management Information System (MIS) as prescribed by the organization

On-the-job training for ASDC Marketing Manager Level 6 certificate holders

Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Business Administration

Excellent communication and co-ordination skills

Customer-oriented Result-oriented Motivation skills

It is not a desk job

Needs to supervise a team of Marketing Executives

Travelling maybe required depending on company norms

Working hours

Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week
