Fleet Sales Accounts Manager

Minimum ? Preferably B.E/B. Tech in any discipline or Bachelor?s in Advertising/Marketing or in any discipline

Certified training for Key Accounts Sales Manager (programme aligned to ASC/Q 0102 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

Minimum 3-8 years of experience in relevant field sales in the automotive industry for graduates

Minimum 2-4 years of experience for postgraduates

The tasks a Key Accounts Sales Manager is expected to perform include:

Selling vehicles to corporate, fleet, bulk or institutional customers

Ensuring the smooth flow of sales processes to bulk customers

Monitoring the sales performance of channel partners (dealer/distributor) and aligning it to the overall sales OEM targets

Finalizing the sales package for bulk/institutional customers and responding to tenders

Managing customer relationships and quality service

Resolving complete customer queries, issues and complaints on a timely basis

Knowledge of the technical specifications of various OEM vehicular products as well as those manufactured by competitors

Skilled in financial management including budgeting, forecasting, calculations related to bids, etc.

Knowledge of conducting market research to analyze current trends in the market and develop counter strategies

Basic knowledge of creating regular reports on the sales performance for channel partners across the territory

Skilled in organizing appropriate local promotional activities required for attracting potential customers

Knowledge of vehicles (models/variants) offered by competitors

Basic knowledge of managing and analyzing the customer database collected from various sources

Skilled in handling customer queries

Knowledge of the documents required for the sales process

Basic knowledge of software or formats such as MS word, MS excel, etc.

Knowledge of gathering and analyzing market information on fleet and institutional buyers including tracking tenders

Proficiency in maintaining a relationship with key stakeholders across various large institutional or fleet buyers

Knowledge of how to arrive at a cost estimate for responding to a new tender

Familiarity with documents required for responding to requests for quotations and tenders

On-the-job training for ASDC Key Accounts Sales Manager Level 5 certificate holders

Postgraduates in any discipline

Excellent communication skills

Presentable and outgoing Persuasive

Persistent

Leadership skills

Good negotiating skills

It is not a desk job

Needs to supervise a team of Sales Officials and Sales Executives

Local travelling maybe a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are not available

Working hours

Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week

Overtime and shift system maybe involved according to company norms
