Minimum Preferably Diploma for public address announcers; Bachelor's degree for radio and television announcers

The tasks a Commentator (Motion Picture) is expected to perform include:

Giving running commentary to interpret motion picture

Describing visuals of motion picture

Obtaining general background of material to be covered

Narrating events

Synchronizing commentary with visuals

Familiar with working from a script

Knowledge of how to write for the ear

Competent in interviewing guests
