Animation Cameraman

Minimum Preferably degree in television, film, photography, media studies or performing arts

Previous relevant work experience

The tasks a Cameraman, Animation is expected to perform include:

Operating special camera to make animated cartoon motion picture film

Discussing project with director and producer

Rendering advice about camera movements and feasibility of variety of shot

Envisaging in script and chart, and suggesting alternatives

Receiving animation charts and drawings

Setting and adjusting camera and lighting exposure

Installing frame on camera table

Positioning overhead camera

Shooting frame by frame in a predetermined sequence

Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in the work backed up with evidence of theoretical competency

Knowledge of technical abilities

Well-versed with photography, film or video work

Ability to listen and follow someone else's conceptual path

In-depth understanding of how camera equipment functions

Will be updated

Physically fit

Observant

Capable of concentrating for long periods of time

Excellent hand-eye co-ordination

Hearing and colour vision

Communication skills

It is not a desk job

Need to handle a team

Local travelling is a part of this job role

Media and Entertainment companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company
