Minimum Preferably high school

Certified training for Lighting Artist (programme aligned to MES/ Q 0404 released by Media & Entertainment Skills Council)

Preferably minimum 1+ years of work experience

The tasks a Lighting Artist is expected to perform includes:

Adding light and shadows to the production in accordance to the established creative style

Knowledge of theory and principles of lighting, shadows, exposure, natural light, and colour space, reflections, etc.

Well-versed with fundamentals of photography, lighting optimization and cinematography

Knowledge of software tools such as 3D studio max, Autodesk maya, Softimage etc.

Competent in visualiziing a scene under different lighting conditions

Knowledge Understanding of the traditional techniques of lighting including techniques used in theatrical stage lighting, product lighting etc.

For freshers INR 6,000 to INR 9,000 per month

For candidates with 1/2 yearsexperience - INR 12,000 to INR 15,000 per month

For candidates with over 2 yearsexperience INR 18,000 to INR 20,000 per month
