The tasks a Bare Board Testing Operator is expected to perform include:

Conducting electrical test on printed circuit boards (PCB) post manufacturing

Operating a scanner to verify each circuit connection of the manufactured PCB

Ensuring pins are aligned in bed of nails test

Conducting visual check at every stage of PCB manufacturing up to lamination stage

Proficiency in programming the scanning machine and setting specifications of the board?s circuit

Knowledge of the electronics industry

Proficiency in operating the bare board testing machine, flying probe, universal grid etc.

Knowledge of Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) standards for printed circuit boards

Knowledge of using equipment such as microscope, magnifying light source, callipers, digital multi meters and other measuring devices and fixtures

Proficiency in resolving machine related problems effectively
