The tasks a Barber is expected to perform include:Cutting hair, shaving and trimming beards, moustaches and performing other personal services for customers, incidental to barbering

Covering neck and clothing of customers with towel or apron to avoid cut hair falling on them

Cutting hair, shaving and trimming beards and moustaches, according to instructions of customers or according to a particular style using clippers, scissors, razors and combs

Trimming or filing nails of hands

Removing superfluous hair from eyebrows, nostrils and ears

Brushing off cut hair from head and neck, and washing and cleaning the face using hand spray and towel, and applying antiseptics and cream on the face

Knowledge of head, face and body massage

Proficient in services such as shampooing, massaging of head by hand, etc.Adept with dyeing and waving hair, and cutting corn

Proficient in haircutting, shaving and trimming of beard as per customer instructions

Working hours

Working hours are for 5/6 days a week for 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from salon to salon
