The tasks a Manicurist is expected to perform include:Cleaning, shaping and polishing finger nails

Applying liquid polish-remover or lotion to take off old nail polish or to clean nails

Moistening nails with water before cutting with scissors or nipper and filing edges of nails to shape

Applying nail paint

Cleaning and sterilizing equipment after use

Proficient in applying nail paint with small brush

Adept with cleaning and sterilizing equipment

Well-versed with advising customers on massage and use of creams to improve appearance of hands and arms

Knowledge of cleaning the feet, cuts or treat corns
