The tasks a Hair Dresser (Ladies) is expected to perform include:Cutting, washing, dyeing and waving hair

Performing other personal services incidental to hair dressing of women

Covering clothing of client with towel or apron to avoid sticking of cut hair

Proficiency in cutting hair according to instructions of client or according to a particular style using clippers, scissors, razors and combs

Adept with washing, rinsing and drying hair using shampoos and solutions as necessary and bleaching, dyeing or tinting hair

Well-versed with waving hair by wrapping it with round curlers, adding wave solutions and performing other tasks to obtain required effect

Knowledge of setting hair in desired style by combing

Proficient in cleaning, shaping and polishing finger nails

Well-versed with giving scalp treatment to clients

Working hours are for 5/6 days a week for 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from salon to salon

For freshers - INR 5,000 to INR 7,000 per month For candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience or more - INR 12,000 to INR 15,000 per month(This figure are indicative and subject to change)
