The tasks that a Planer, Mosaic Tile is expected to perform include:
Operating planing machine to grind surface of mosaic tiles to evenness
Starting machine fitted with revolving circular metal plate
Placing tiles on revolving bed of machine with smooth side of tiles facing metal plate on entire area of circular bed
Filling tanks placed above machine with water and sand
Opening tanks to allow water and sand to fall on rotating bed in prescribed ratio
Supervising tiles getting ground by mixture of water and sand in metal bed for prescribed period of time
Ensuring required finish
Removing ground or planed tiles from bed of machine
Replacing old tiles with fresh tiles
Keeping place neat and tidy
Competent in applying tile or marble to ceilings and walls of buildings
Equipped to install decorative concrete mixture in floor at schools, offices, and hospitals
Competent in measuring and cutting marble according to specifications
Proficient in drilling holes into the corners of marble sheet
Competent in inserting fasteners into holes
Well-versed with creating plaster mixture and applying to wall
Competent in pressing marble onto plaster mixture
Proficient in squeezing special mix between slabs
Competent in smoothing and finishing mixture
Adept at using caulking guns or putty knives
