Minimum ? Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Industrial/Production/ Mechanical Engineering
Certified training for Maintenance Technician Mechanical Level 4 (programme aligned to ASC/Q6802 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)
Minimum 5 years? experience in maintenance/manufacturing
The tasks a Maintenance Technician Mechanical Level 4 is expected to perform include:
Maintaining the mechanical systems of equipment and machinery
Conducting routine maintenance of equipment and machinery
Organizing repairs in case of any breakdown
Conducting preventive/breakdown maintenance
Recording maintenance cycles and schedules
Planning the time schedule for preventive maintenance cycles based on history and equipment manufacturers' recommendations
Taking trials of equipment
Knowledge of the process in consideration
Basic knowledge of dimensions and types of existing facilities being used for the process
Familiarity with the engineering drawings of the existing layout
Knowledge of the operation of machinery and equipment being used for the process
Familiarity with material and information flow of the process
Basic knowledge of capacity utilization levels and the cost of manufacturing being incurred
Knowledge of media information flow like SAP, ERP, etc.
Knowledge of 5S procedures
Physically fit
Training in TPM, predictive maintenance techniques, automation, robotics
Safety-oriented Team player
Result-oriented
It is not a desk job
Work from home and travelling is not applicable for this profile
May or may not require supervising a team
Part-time and contractual jobs are not available
Working hours
Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week
