Preferred relevant work experience

The tasks an Accessory Fitter is expected to perform include:

Installing and fitting vehicle accessories

Installing and fitting the vehicle?s exterior, interior, media and entertainment accessories

Fixing security related accessories depending on vehicle type and model

Knowledge of the specifications related to accessories that are appropriate for a particular brand

Familiarity with standard operating procedures

Skilled in identifying and understanding the customer?s accessory demands

Efficiency in working with wires, connections, tools and instruments, etc.

Familiarity with different methods to fix all kinds of accessories

Ability to diagnose and repair problems

Basic arithmetic skills

Ability to stay abreast with the latest technological advancements

Physically fit

Manual dexterity

On-the-job training is desirable for ASDC Accessory Fitter certificate or for a Bachelor?s Degree or Diploma holder in any discipline

Good communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team

It is a field job

May need to handle a team of Floor Mechanics, assistants, etc.

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Working is 9 hours every day for 6 days a week
