Previous relevant work experience

The tasks an Upholsterer, Vehicle is expected to perform include: Installing covering and cushioning for seats Installing other furnishings on motor cars, carts, railway coaches, aircrafts and other vehicles

Taking measurements for furnishings Working from drawings Cutting out materials

Making and fitting springs, padding and covering to seats

Fitting lining to roof, doors and other parts

Cutting out and fixing materials for excluding sounds and draughts

Knowledge of making upholstery

Knowledge of stitching fabrics, car covers, etc.Competent with cutting, sewing and measuring skills

Knowledge of how to use and care for equipment

Ability to lay floor covering Skill in making and fitting vehicle blinds and fabric roofs

Seat Manufacturing companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company Shift system maybe available

For candidates with up to 2 years? experience - INR 7,500 to INR 10,500 per month

For candidates with 2 to 5 years? experience ? INR 10,500 to INR 12,500 per month

For candidates with over 5 years? experience ? INR 12,500 to INR 16,000 per month
