Book Binding Worker

The tasks a Book Binding Operatives is expected to perform include:

Performing variety of routine and low-skilled tasks connected with book binding such as cutting paper to specified size, ruling blank sheets, applying gum, etc.

Knowledge of book binding

Proficiency in other tasks like applying glue, cutting paper, etc.

Will be updated

Ability to follow instructions

Good observation skills

Result-oriented

Ability to focus for long hours

It needs one to be on their toes

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Working hours

Working hours are 10/12 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from institution to institution

The Indian Printing Industry, growing at a rate of 12% per annum, comprises more than 2,50,000 big, small and medium printers.
