Minimum 5th Certified training for Plumber (Operations) (programme aligned to PSC/Q 008 released by Indian Plumbing Skills Council)

2 years of minimum work experience as a semi-skilled helper in lieu of minimum educational qualification

The tasks a Plumber (Operations) is expected to perform include: Handling the operation of the installed plumbing system

Following safety and health regulations

In-depth knowledge of the installation system

Detailed knowledge of how to test run the plumbing system

Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and plumbing systems monitoring devices

Knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of various plumbing systems

Detailed knowledge of types of operation schedules

Knowledge of basic plumbing and operation terminology

Basic knowledge of the units of measurement

Knowledge of proper material disposal procedures

Working knowledge of various basic tools and equipment

Previous on-the-job training

Knowledge of Hindi or a regional language

Good communication skills

Team spirit
