The tasks a Selling Agent is expected to perform include:
Selling goods in allotted area on behalf of producers and manufactures according to their instructions
Introducing the products in the allotted area by appropriate display of samples, distributing catalogues or with the help of public media such as newspaper magazines etc
Maintaining necessary stock of goods
Discussing and finalizing the terms regarding sales, commission and credit facilities
Booking, ordering and supplying products
Keeping records of the transaction made on everyday basis
Attending enquiries and correspondence related to sales and servicing of goods sold or supplied
Providingfeedbackandinformationtotheproducersandmanufacturersaboutthemarkettrendsrelatedtothegoodsdealingwith
Promoting sales in consultation with the producers and manufacturers of the goods
Appointing sub-agents if necessary
In depth knowledge of the products and goods dealing in
