The tasks a Wholesale Dealer is expected to perform include:

Purchasing goods in bulk directly from manufacturers, producers or importers and running a wholesale business

Working on its own account by selling goods for profit to retailers, commercial and other large consumers

Estimating requirements of goods

Studying market trends to decide the price of purchases and sales of products at competitive rates

Placing order for the goods required with manufacturers and producers

Ensuring the goods are supplied by manufacturers in the quantity and standard promised

Displaying and showing samples of goods to the customers

Booking orders and ensuring delivery of goods within stipulated time to the customers

Extending credit facilities to reliable customers

Advising the customers about the supply ?demand and prevailing market prices of the goods

Keeping in touch with government rules and regulations regarding taxation, shop and commercial establishment act

Maintaining necessary records of purchases and sales on a daily basis
