The tasks a Store Opt Assistant is expected to perform include: Receiving and processing incoming goods Storing goods Reporting discrepancies in stock to relevant personnel

Replenishing stock on sale

Identifying and reporting accidents and emergencies Lifting and handling goods safely

Establishing effective rapport with customers

Knowledge related to quantity and type of goods

Accuracy in documentation and paperwork related to the receipt, storage and delivery of the products

Knowledge regarding the lifecycle and storage of perishable goods (if applicable)

Knowledge of various ways to receive, move, store and deliver the products and equipment to avoid damages
