Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication

At least 2 years of experience

The tasks a Controller, Tram is expected to perform include:

Controlling and supervising operation of tram services

Visiting depot at beginning and end of duty to supervise turn out and stabling of trams

Checking attendance of supervisory and line staff, arranging substitutes for absentees and forwarding statement of attendance to time - keeping department

Proficient in ensuring running of tram cars according to schedule

Adept at receiving information on road traffic and taking measures to ensure smooth service

Well-versed in rushing to break-down points and clearing line with help of break down vans, if necessary

Knowledge of visiting heavy loading points during peak hours and arranging to clear traffic by adding additional tram cars or diverting service from one route to another

Proficient in making suggestions to Divisional Heads for improvement and extension of tram services

Knowledge of driving tram car in emergency

Good physical health

Flexible for spending long days away from home

Working hours are 10/12 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week
