Head Trains Clerk

The tasks a Head Train Recorder expected to perform include:

Supervising work of Trains Clerk engaged in recording movement of incoming and outgoing passenger coaches, empty or loaded goods wagons and stationary stock in yard

Ensuring that Trains Clerk attends to incoming or outgoing trains

Recording time of arrival and departure of trains, and numbers of coaches to Section Controller

Proficient in checking each loaded wagon to ensure that they are properly leveled and riveted

Adept at checking statement of movement of rolling stock to find out detention and cause thereof

Well-versed in suggesting remedial measures for quick movement of wagons

Will be updated

Good physical health

Flexible for spending long days away from home
