Minimum Preferably Diploma in Civil Engineering or a Degree in Architecture/Interior Designing

Certified training Bathroom and Kitchen Designer (programme aligned to PSC/Q 004 released by Indian Plumbing Skills Council)

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

The tasks a Bathroom and Kitchen Designer is expected to perform include: Designing the layout for plumbing systems in the bathroom and kitchen based on client requirement

Selecting various fixtures and fittings

Guiding the Drafting Engineers to prepare an initial layout Following all safety and health requirements

Detailed and working knowledge of various fixtures and fittings

In-depth knowledge of design techniques

Working knowledge of manual drawing tools

Proficiency in using software like Auto

CAD, STAAD Pro, Autodesk Revit, etc. Knowledge of engineering design and codes

Understanding drawing and design terminology Adept in undertaking thorough research and calculations before developing the design

Knowledge of various relevant calculations and measurements

Knowledge of English or Hindi and other regional/local languages

Previous on-the-job training

It is a desk job with visits to the construction site from time to time

May need to guide a team of Drafting Engineers

Contract or per-job basis work is also available
